How Green Tea can help you?

That’s something for all of you coffee lovers and everyone who is interested in healthy weight loss.

Now, let’s see what is what is all that buzz about green tea.

The early use of green tea may have occurred about 4,000 years ago, but its popularity has recently peaked in the wellbeing community. This intensely studied compound is a staple in the formulas of top fat-burning supplements - and with good reason!

Let's start at the root of this green tea phenomenon.

Green, black and oolong tea may all come from the same plant, but the difference stems from the way each is prepared. Green tea, unlike black and oolong tea, is not fermented. Green tea has the least amount of caffeine of all the teas because it is the least fermented. The reason why green tea has the most health benefits is because a longer fermentation process destroys many of the beneficial substances in the tea plant.

The benefits of Green Tea

Green Tea (Camellia Sinensis) contains polyphenol that comes from plants. A strong antioxidant, tannins are found in large quantities in green tea. Antioxidants protect your cells from toxins in the environment, such as cigarette smoke and pollution. Green tea helps boost immunity and provide protection from these harmful toxins. Having a cup of green tea after a meal can aid in digestion. Green tea has been used for thousands of years in Asia as a digestive. Green tea is a plant frequently steeped in hot water and drunk as tea. It exerts most of its benefits through water-soluble polyphenols (frequently referred to as catechins) extracted from the leaves, into water, which is then consumed. It has been implicated in benefiting almost every organ system in the body. It is cardioprotective, neuroprotective, anti-obesity, anti-carcinogenic, anti-diabetic, anti-artherogenic, liver protective and beneficial for blood vessel health. These beneficial effects are seen in doses present both in green tea itself (as a drink) as well as from a supplemental form (extract).

For all of you who trying to cut on caffeine intake, I would strongly advise to try Green Tea Extract. I am big fan of that wonder for over ten years now. It still give you that buzz we all craving for, but won’t leave you in such bad shape like often happen after overdosing caffeine.

There is really no down side to Green Tea, so go ahead and try it! Form of it (Tea or Extract) is not that important.
